New Homes That “Tick All the Boxes"

New Homes That “Tick All the Boxes"

Nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire, a county celebrated for its charming blend of countryside, coast, and market towns, a new development has captured the attention of homebuyers. Gelder Group’s Nettleton Fields in Nettleton, near Caistor, is the latest hotspot, enticing couples and families to make the move north.

A Dream Come True for Retirees

Among the first to embrace this new community are retirees Mr. and Mrs. Jerome and Mr. and Mrs. Boichat. These luxury homes, featuring a mix of three to five-bedroom bungalows and houses, offer integrated kitchens, quality bathrooms, underfloor heating, and more, all set in an excellent location.

Clive and Jill Jerome, previously residents of the South Coast, discovered Lincolnshire’s allure during a post-Covid holiday.

“We decided to go on holiday after Covid. The West Country is crowded, so we thought we would go somewhere new and decided to come up to Lincolnshire, an area which we had not been to before,” said Clive.

“We looked at areas around Lincoln and we wanted to find a bungalow. We had a list of essential features we were looking for and ideally, we wanted to find a smallish village with good access. When we saw our three-bedroomed bungalow at Nettleton Fields, we thought ‘wow’.”

It was sheer luck that led them to their perfect home in Nettleton Fields, ticking all the boxes on their wish list and situated close to the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.

Finding the Perfect Fit

Brian and Vera Boichat also found their ideal home at Nettleton Fields. Initially searching for a bungalow, they found themselves drawn to a four-bedroom house next door to the Jeromes.

“For years, our son and his family had wanted us to move closer to them, but we never had,” Vera explained.

“Latterly, we lived in a four-bedroom house in Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. It was a lovely home which many people nearby admired. That is probably why we were able to sell it in just two days.

“Whilst we had been searching for another property, our son, who lives in the Nettleton area, had also been looking and had spotted the Nettleton Fields development. So we visited the site, having originally thought we would move to a bungalow.

“However, we also looked up the site on the internet and finally viewed the available four-bedroom house. We liked the quality and layout of the property and decided we would buy it, to the delight of our family,” said Vera.

“They are absolutely thrilled that we have moved here and, in fact, we can’t keep them away!” she joked.

A Warm Welcome

The Boichats have quickly adapted to their new surroundings, enjoying the many facilities in nearby Caistor and finding the locals very friendly and sociable. Both keen bowlers, they have received a warm welcome at Caistor Bowls Club and are eager to become members.

Gelder Group CEO Steve Gelder expressed his delight in welcoming the new residents: “We are delighted to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Jerome and Mr. and Mrs. Boichat to Nettleton Fields. We are immensely proud of our luxurious new development.

“From the outset, we aimed to build quality homes, packed with high-spec features, such as integrated kitchens, quality sanitaryware, good flooring, and everything else that makes for easy, comfortable living.”

In a market where supply is increasing and buyer expectations are higher than ever, the difference between homes that sell quickly and those that don’t often comes down to one crucial factor: presentation. For developers, the product is only half the equation. The way it’s positioned, packaged, and promoted can directly impact the speed of sale

You may have seen property gurus filling up your social media feeds with tales of how they bought a number of properties without using any of their own savings, and now they have retired at the age of 32 with a portfolio worth £10m. And of course, for the princely sum of £997, you can learn how to do this too.

Most homeowners would like to sell their homes for as much money as possible, and the best way to do that is by attracting potential buyers to come for a viewing. Could the key to a successful sale be before a viewer has even stepped inside??
