Site Update: Construction Now Underway at The Orchard

Following our initial announcement earlier this year, we’re pleased to share a progress update from the upcoming private, gated development coming to the heart of Nettleham.

We’re pleased to share the latest update from The Orchard, the new private, gated development for over-55s coming soon to the heart of Nettleham.

The site has now moved firmly into the construction phase. Following the demolition of the former buildings, the ground has been fully prepared and the first structural stages are now underway. As shown in the latest site photo, the foundations and layouts are being set out, with the build team progressing through the early groundwork at a steady pace.

Delivered by Millcroft Developments, The Orchard will offer a limited collection of high-quality, cottage-style homes designed for low-maintenance, energy-efficient living. Each property will feature solar panels, air-source heating, underfloor heating, full fibre broadband and a high-spec internal finish, along with its own private outbuilding for storage.

The development will form a secure, gated community, complete with a tarmac entrance road, allocated parking, visitor spaces and a landscaped central garden designed for residents to enjoy. The location places buyers just a short walk from Nettleham’s village centre, offering everyday convenience in a peaceful setting.

Interest in The Orchard continues to grow, and we’ll be sharing more updates as the build progresses. Full details, pricing and launch information will follow once construction advances to the next stage.

If you’ve already registered, you’ll receive updates first.
If not, you’re welcome to get in touch to join the list.
